What is FiveSTAR?


IMAGINE an organization that provides outstanding service to its customers. Maybe it's a restaurant or hotel. Think about what FiveSTAR quality looks like. What are its attributes?


Before you take the FiveSTAR Team Performance Indicator, consider your experience as a team member or a leader in your organization. Visualize the following functions and attributes: your mission, objectives, roles, responsibilities, first-time quality, employee ownership, buy-in, relationships and credibility in the eyes of your customers (internal and external).


Now visualize as an individual, a team and an organization, what your team looks like as a FiveSTAR Performer. Invest 15 minutes of your time to reflect and respond to statements about yourself as an individual, your team and your organization as a whole.


When you are ready to take the assessment, you will be presented with a list of 50 statements. For each statement, simply decide how many stars you would rate your team based on its performance in the respective core competencies, by making a selection from the following choices.


Understand that this information is anonymous and confidential with your results and those of your fellow team members being tallied automatically by TeamBuilders WorldWide. Individual results are not disclosed to anyone outside of TeamBuilders WorldWide. They are only used to contribute to an analysis of the opinions of the team as a whole.


When responding to the questions the term "team" refers to participants attending the TeamBuilders WorldWide session together.


To start the survey you must enter your account login, which identifies your team, and your user code, which distinguishes you from other team members but maintains the anonymity of your responses. Both of these should have been given to you.


Usually, you will take this same survey three times at intervals of weeks or months, and you must enter the survey number you have been given (1, 2, or 3.)


If you do not complete a survey, you may return and restart the same survey number at any time.


After your login has been accepted, you just have to indicate how many stars you would give your team and its performance for each statement by selecting the appropriate number.
